Directions

We are located just off Route 143 (Second Street/Merrimac Trail) in Williamsburg.

1. Via I64 (from either Hampton/Newport News or Richmond) exit onto Route 199 at Exit 242 toward Williamsburg/Busch Gardens/Jamestown:
   • Note to those traveling east on I64: do not take the Route 199 exit in Lightfoot (Exit 234).
   • From Route 199 take next exit (approximately 1 mile) onto Route 143 (Merrimac Trail).
   • Turn right onto Route 143.
   • Then follow directions at step 2.
2. When traveling Route 143 from the Newport News side of Williamsburg:
   • Note that Route 143 is also known as Merrimac Trail.
   • After passing/exiting Route 199, proceed to the first traffic signal (approximately 1 mile).
   • Turn right at traffic signal onto Penniman Road.
   • Then follow the directions at step 4.
3. If coming from Williamsburg via Second Street:
   • Proceed past James-York Plaza (on your left).
   • The next traffic signal after James-York Plaza is Penniman Road.
   • Turn left at traffic signal onto Penniman Road.
   • Then follow the directions at step 4.
4. From Penniman Road.
   • Magruder Elementary School is on your left.
   • Go one block (to the end of Magruder Elementary School) and turn left onto Hubbard Lane.
   • In order on your left are: Magruder Elementary School, a Fire Station, our playhouse.
   • Enter our parking lot at the far entrance.
   • We are located at 200 Hubbard Lane.
