Backwards Broadway Concert, featuring local talented performers and professionals from Hampton Roads, is a first at the Williamsburg Players. This unique revue features miscast songs and mixes up the most popular Broadway show tunes. Men sing women's songs and vice versa. Come and see the Six Murder Mistresses from Chicago, a drag queen from Follies, and beautiful Broadway chorus girls. Do not miss this limited event, which includes songs from Hamilton, Lion King, Young Frankenstein, She Loves Me, Wicked, The Producers, Annie Get Your Gun and more.

This show not only supports your local community theatre, but also raises awareness for those in need. We have teamed up with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. After the performance, we will have a special collection (not part of ticket sales). Your donations will help provide medications, nutritious meals, health care, counseling, emergency financial assistance and so much more to men, women and children across the nation, who are living with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases. The contributions will also support the essential social service programs of The Actors Fund including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic.
