Theatre Policies

Tickets may only be exchanged for a different performance of the same show. A ticket exchange is not allowed once passed the day and time of the performance on your ticket. More Info


There are no refunds except for group sales.
All sales are final.


In the unlikely event that a performance must be cancelled due to inclement weather, loss of power, or other reason, the Players will announce the cancellation as follows:

  • On our voice mail at (757) 229-0431.
  • On our website: www.WilliamsburgPlayers.org
  • An email message will be sent to all customers having tickets for the cancelled performance.
  • The box office will attempt to call customers for the performance who do not have an email address on file.

Phones and other electronic devices

For the enjoyment of all patrons and out of respect for our performers, we ask that you please turn off all electronic devices including phones, watches, computers, tablets, and anything else that beeps or makes noise before the performance begins.

The use of cameras and recording devices is prohibited in the theatre.

Late Arrivals

Patrons arriving after the performance has started will be seated at the descretion of the Board Member on Duty and the ushers. Latecomers may need to take a temporary seat until intermission so they do not disturb other patrons.

Best time to call is between 2 hours to 45 minutes before a performance.
