Highlights

At first, the Sycamores seem mad, but it is not long before we realize that if they are mad, the rest of the world is madder. Tony, attractive young son of the unhappy Kirbys, falls in love with Alice Sycamore and brings his parents to dine at the Sycamore home on the wrong evening.

So begins this madcap romp, featuring a printing press in the parlor, screwball comedy, youthful romance, fireworks of both the literal and metaphorical kinds, and the funniest attempt ever at avoiding the income tax.
